Movies I've rented (recently) and what I remember thinking
I decided to write about non-big screen movies now too...i forget the dates for most stuff this quarter and there are no handy ticket stubs either.

- Traffic (4.21.02) I didn't really like this one. I didnt follow the parts that happened in Mexico. I found the lighting distracting. And it was long.
- Drive me Crazy (4.19.02) This fits in well with other movies of its genre. I'm not a huge m.j.hart fan. The punk kid looked better before his makeover.
- The World is not enough (3.31.02) Typical Bond movie. I missed part of the ending, but am confidant i know exactly what happened.
- Austin Powers (3.x.02) I think i saw an edited for tv version, because this was tamed down more than i remember. Funny. Quotable. (maybe too quotable....)
- 10 things I hate about you (3.x.02) Wow--all the kids in this cast have really made it? were they as big then?
- She's all that (3.x.02) I dont have any unique opinions to express.
- Saving Private Ryan (1.16.02) I'd never made a point of seeing this, just because i knew it was graphic. But i liked it--it was good (in that sort of way that a lot of movies i like are not). Quality. I forget what else i thought.
- The Fast and the Furious (1.x.02) Never had a desire to see this. Thats what you get for sending guys to Blockbuster. More of a plot than you'd think. The making of special tried to make it into more than it is. I'm scared of fast cars.
- Down to Earth (1.x.02) I didnt want to see this, then realized I'd seen it before and still didnt want to see it (though remebered not hating it). Watched it anyway, and still didnt hate it. I think it would have been better if they'd shown more of how people saw him.
- What Women Want (1.x.02) Plenty good the second time around. I liked the thoughts of women they captured. Some were right on.
- Top Gun (1.x.02) Another classic- how have people not seen this. First time I noticed Tim Robbins.
- Sneakers (1.x.02) I love this movie. A personal classic. There are movies with worse (and yes, better) technology.
- Mulan (1.x.02) Fine. But something has been lost that was present in Disney movies of yore.
- Princess Diaries (1.x.02) Why did they have the Genovian ball in San Francisco?
- When Harry met Sally (12.31.01) I love m.ryan in these types of movies.
- Groundhogs day (12.2x.01) So funny. I'm glad I'd forgotten details.
- Patch Adams (12.2x.01) I forgot a lot of this movie. And while I knew some stuff would happen i forgot how. I also forgot a lot of the subtleties
- Three men and a little lady (12.2x.01) I dont know if I like this more or less than the first one. Maybe more...the kid is cute...and the dads interaction with her is endearing.
- Three men and a Baby (12.2x.01) I think i watch this and its sequel everytime i go to my grandparents. What got me the most, was that this was a funny movie, which big name actors, targeted at adults, but rated PG. I cant really think of a movie thats targeted to adults (beyond a few adult jokes in a kids movie) thats rated less than PG-13.
- Bring it On (12.23.01) Why do i like this movie so much? Its not great by any means, but I'm so intrigued by the cheers and the tumbling. Special feature: cheer along.
- Pelican Brief (12.23.01) I'd forgotten most of the plot (except for a few times which killed the suspence.) I liked it.
- Newsies (12.xx.01) Love it everytime i see it. Annoyed with Crutchie. Know songs too well now (though not intentionally).
- Swing Kids (12.xx.01) Less dancing that I was hoping for (appriciated it more). Still love Robert Sean Leondard. Dialoge weak at times.
- The Hudsucker Proxy (12.xx.01) Couldn't remember Jennifer Jason Leigh so I watched this again. Still cute. Liked the camera work alot. Liked the plot, the subtleties, the diagrams the most.
- City of Angels (12.xx.01) Didn't dislike it as much as i remembered. Not sure why i watched it again (bored i guess). Liked some lines (like the description of the pear) and some shots (like all the angles in the library). Still dont care for the plot.
- You've Got Mail (12.xx.01) Like it more now that I've been to new york. Love M.Ryan and T.Hanks together. Everytime i see it, I still want her to say yes to Joe Fox instead of NY152.
- Pay it Forward (12.xx.01) Too contrived. Tried to hard to make things a big deal.
- My Best Friend's Wedding (11.xx.01) I liked it more than i remembered-still didnt love it. I still liked the same things the most--the last scene with J.Roberts and gay friend the most.
- Little Women (11.xx.01) I'd never seen this, or read the book, nor did i even know the story. I liked it! I did, however, want Jo and whoever Christian Bale played to get together. What a let down--though i guess i do appricaite when stories don't exactly work out. How cute--Kirsten Dunst when she's little.
- Runaway Bride (11.xx.01) Nice chick flick. I like J.Roberts and R.Gere together. Charming.
- Out of Africa (11.xx.01) Love Robert Redford. Appriciated seeing him young! Didn't quite pay attention to the whole thing, so i missed some stuff, but liked it.
- Hurricane (11.xx.01) This was excellent! I really enjoyed this! Excellent story, nice format...happy ending. Highly recommend!
